We can now conteract the wet steaminess of the afternoon heat by taking to the hammock on the bacony ( as seen above) and the view from the back door not only shows the splendid washing line and the foreign pine trees planted as part of a failed scheme to grow soft wood in the rain forest but it overlooks a swampy area renowned for its caiman activityat night!! The house has its rough patches but it is airy and light during the day time and we can work on making it more comfortable...I get cable TV today ( which I never had in England) and this will allow me, amongst other things, to see premier league games live courtesy of Fox Sport channel ( yes I have sold out).
One of the best features of the new place is that we can have friends around without giving them claustrophobia. We are looking forward to that .
Work is beginning to get more complex ...2 workshops coming up this week ( one in the secondary school) and this at the time when Trudy is going back to England for 3 weeks for the funeral of her Uncle Aubrey. She leaves on friday so I will have to look in at the resources centre every day for that time. Still it does keep us active and busy and time passes swiftly.
